Our history

Beyond Dry Cleaners in concept started decades ago with owner Doris de Hilster having started as a clothes salesperson in Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. After moving to the United States, Doris created her own line of clothing including making amazing and exotic feather and sequin carnaval costumes. Moving to Florida in 2014, Doris began to work in alternations of high-end clothing working with her own alternations store, to managing dry cleaning and alterations in the fast-paced world of dry cleaning. Now, in 2022, Doris is opening her own dry cleaning business bringing with her friend and colleague Delma Calazans who has decades of experience in the cleaning and pressing of clothing.
